Workshop with apunto.seo - Autumn Tapas
Cuisine and ceramics both celebrate the intricate beauty of nature. Ceramics are formed from silicates found in the soil, while ingredients grow by absorbing nutrients from the same soil.
While we can enjoy produce year-round, some ingredients are only available during specific seasons.
As autumn arrived, we held the first workshop of "SOIL TO SOUL" with Apunto.Seo. Having honed her culinary skills in Spain, Chef Apunto.Seo introduced us to the essence of Spanish cuisine. Our workshop focused on learning about tapas, small plates of food often enjoyed with drinks at bars throughout Spain. We prepared simple yet delicious recipes using autumnal ingredients, such as Creamy Chestnut Soup, Romesco Tartine, and an Autumn Salad with Persimmons and Beetroot Dressing. After learning the recipes, we sat around the table and enjoyed the dishes together, surrounded by the view of falling ginkgo leaves outside the window.
